Four Corners Medical Software-- EMRs for developing countries Four Corners Medical Software spent 4 years researching the requirements of medical clinics in developing countries and has produced an EMR to address those needs. The resulting system is called SEMR, pronounced Seymour and is an acronym for what it is: Simple Electronic Medical Records. It coordinates the clinic activities for a one-user environment or a 50+ person clinic. Running on a local computer allows the system to continue working even when the Internet is down.
