Advantage Haiti under Lumiere Medical Ministries

Advantage Haiti serves the needs of those with disabling conditions through the Rehabilitation Clinic & the Prosthetics / Orthotics Shop at the Cayes Clinic in Les Cayes, The Bernice Johnson Center (vocational training program for women with disabilities and--starting in May 2010--rehabilitation clinic that can house persons who need to stay in the area for short or longer term rehabilitation. The Rehabilitation Brace Shop is equipped to fabricate custom orthotics. Other programs include those for Blindness and Low Vision and School Sponsorships.

AdventHealth Global Missions

AdventHealth Global Missions sends short term medical/surgical teams to countries worldwide, including, Haiti, Honduras and the Dominican Republic.

Aid For Haiti

Aid for Haiti is a nonprofit organization that exists to aid the people of Haiti through compassionate health care, spiritual ministry and training for service. Aid for Haiti conducts both surgical missions to La Colline and rural medical missions several times each year.

AMURT (Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team) Haiti

AMURT - Haiti operates numerous programs including educational, urban ecology, rural environmental initiative and rural healthcare. AMURT - Haiti offers daily mobile health clinics in underserved areas of Port au Prince and the NW Artibonite. In addition, AMURT-Haiti runs a homeopathy program in Commune Anse Rouge, and supports the health clinic it built in Commune Terre-Neuves.

Angel Missions Haiti

Angel Missions Haiti coordinates state-of-the-art medical care and delivers elementary education to the children of Haiti in concert with providing primary health education to Haitian physicians through its U.S. and Haitian missions.

Angel Wings International

Angel Wings International operates a medical clinic in Jacmel and conducts medical missions several times a year to provide both direct medical care and health education to the community.

Archangel Airborne

Archangel Airborne is a not for profit organization of aviators, clinicians and multidisciplinary specialists whose mission is to provide medical, logistical and consultative support to areas in need of re-stabilization.

Baptist Haiti Mission

The Baptist Haiti Mission's medical ministry in Fermathe, Haiti (close to Port-au-Prince) serves the local population as well as those in remote areas. The medical staff operates a 100 bed full service hospital and tuberculosis sanitarium, as well as outpatient clinics serving hundreds daily.

Baptist Mid Missions

TASK Force Program provides opportunities for healthcare professionals to serve abroad from 1 week to 2 months. A clinic is operating in Jacmel, Haiti with one Haitian doctor and one mission doctor.

Baraderes Sister Parish Project

The project is a parish ministry of St. John the Baptist Catholic Community, Silver Spring, Maryland. It enables people in St. Pierre parish, Baraderes, to obtain health and educational services they otherwise would not have. Baraderes is on the north coast of Haiti's western peninsula, about 100 miles west of Port-au-Prince.

Beyond Borders

Beyond Borders has established a network of international and Haitian organizations to improve the delivery of emergency assistance. Following the earthquake in January 2010, Beyond Borders has been connecting medical teams with local organizations. In addition, Beyond Borders has been organizing a child protection initiative to help children who have become separated from their parents or have lost their parents.

Bon Samaritan

Christian-based mission located in Montrouis north of Port au Prince on Route One south of St. Marc. They have a small basic clinic for the poor. They are open 6 days a week and have a nurse, pastor who serves as a pharmacist and manager there all the time. They have a doctor who volunteers when he can.

BRAC Limb and Brace Centre

The BRAC Limb and Brace Centre in Port au Prince provides permanent prosthetic devices and orthotic treatment to injured Haitians.

C 14 Foundation

The C 14 Foundation works in conjunction with Big Sky Surgical Team to offer short term medical/surgical clinics in Port au Prince.

Caneille Haiti Medical Missions

Caneille Haiti Medical Missions send teams to the central plateau region of Haiti to conduct short term medical clinics. Currently they are in the process of building a permanent medical clinic in Caneille.

CapraCare

CapraCare is focused on addressing the health dilemmas facing children in the rural community of Fonfrede, near Les Cayes, CapraCare provides preventive health care for children as well as providing low-threshold mental health education and counseling.

Caribbean American Medical Educational Organization (CAMEO)

CAMEO conducts short term medical missions, providing basic medical care to under-served countries including Haiti and Belize.

Catholic Diocese of Richmond Haiti Outreach

Works in health care, education, public policy and justice issues in Hinche, Haiti. The diocese hosts numerous visitors, and sponsors conferences. Their web site has a calendar of trips (some medical), conferences and links.

Chain of Hope

Chain of Hope sends teams of pediatric cardiac surgeons on short term missions to Haiti and other developing countries worldwide.

Children of the World Foundation

Charitable organization involved in social and healthcare projects in Nicaragua, Mexico, Rwanda, and Haiti. In Haiti they collaborate with the Foundation for Mercy and Sharing to support 3 orphanages and an OB-GYN Hospital and Clinic(Mercy Clinic)in Port-au-Prince.

Children's Medical Missions of Haiti

CMMH, is a not-for-profit foundation which supports children's health work by the Episcopal Church of Haiti (Eglise Episcopale d'Haiti; EEH).

Children's Nutrition Program of Haiti (CNP of Haiti)

The CNP works in partnership with Hopital Ste. Croix, in Leogane, Haiti to empower mothers and other caregivers, run mobile medical clinics and support health-related community development programs.

Christian Emergency Relief Teams (CERT) International

CERT International sends short term medical and dental mission teams to countries throughout Central America and the Caribbean.

Clinicians of the World

The mission of Clinicians of the World is to provide specialized medical care, health education and humanitarian aid to underserved people around the world regardless of culture, religion or political affiliation. Clinicians of the World’s Global Health Relief Program provides specialty medical care (cardiology, pulmonary, critical care, infectious disease, wound care, ect.) to victims of natural disasters and other health emergencies using a coordinated approach in collaboration with field partners, government agencies and volunteers.

Community Coalition for Haiti (CCH)

Community Coalition for Haiti’s objective is to improve access and availability of preventative and curative healthcare through medical missions, education, training, and support for Hopital Bienfaisance de Pignon, which serves over 160,000 in the Northern Plateau.

Community Empowerment Global Health Partnerships

Community Empowerment works with local leadership within Haiti and the Dominican Republic to identify their healthcare needs, establishing community clinics and sending short term surgical and primary care mission teams to each of these countries.

CRUDEM (Center for the Rural Development of Milot)

CRUDEM, an acronym for (Center for the Rural Development of Milot) was founded in 1968 by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. CRUDEM supports Hôpital Sacre Coeur, the largest hospital in north Haiti. It is located in the town of Milot. The nearest airport is in the town of Cap Haitian, 30 minutes to the north.

Double Harvest

Since 1987, Operation Double Harvest has operated a medical clinic that has serviced the many villages that surround the project. The clinic is staffed by a full time doctor, nurses, aides, lab technicians, administrative assistants, a full time dentist and dental assistant. The Operation Double Harvest project is located approximately one-half hour east of Port-au-Prince, near the town of Croix des Bouquets.

Eternal Hope in Haiti

Eternal Hope in Haiti (EHIH) is a Christian mission organization that provides free medical care through quarterly mobile clinics and runs an orphanage for critically ill and abandoned children. Mission teams are comprised of Christian volunteers who serve in healthcare and non-health-care capacities.

FaithCare

FaithCare conducts medical missions in Haiti multiple times a year, providing health assessments, health education and minor medical procedures.

Family Health Ministries

Family Health Ministries is dedicated to helping individuals, families and communities 'in need' help themselves, in culturally relevant ways. Currently, they are supporting Haitian-run programs in maternal health; child health, education and church development. FHM's health focus is primarily public health focused. FHM has supported a cervical cancer prevention program based at Hopital Sainte Croix in Leogane since 1993. In addition, FHM takes a medical team to Cite Soleil, Haiti every June.

First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor Haiti Medical Mission Task Force

Works with Hopital Ste. Croix (Holy Cross Hospital), Leogane, Haiti; Faculte de Sciences Infirmieres de l'Universite Episcopale d'Haiti (School of Nursing, Episcopal University of Haiti), Leogane, Haiti; and the Pazapa Center for handicapped children, Jacmel, Haiti. Sends two medical missions annually.

Friends of Ft. Liberte

Friends of Ft. Liberte is a non-profit organization that supports the Ebenezer Medical Clinic, a primary health care clinic in Fort Liberte. In addition, they operate a child sponsorship program, fund and maintain an orphanage and provide a school lunch program for the children of the Ebenezer Baptist School.

Friends of the Children of Haiti (FOTCOH)

FOTCOH's mission is to bring medicine and basic health care to the people of Haiti, most of all the children. Runs a clinic in Marigot.

Functional Literacy Ministry of Haiti (FLM)

Functional Literacy Ministry of Haiti (FLM) is a nonprofit organization that works in the communities of Laboule, Boutilliers, Kenscoff, and Thomassin, located south of Port-au-Prince. FLM operates a primary and secondary school in Laboule and the House of David Community Health Center in Thomassin, providing basic health care services and health education. In addition, FLM conducts short term medical missions twice yearly.

Gaskov Clerge Foundation

Gaskov Clerge Foundation (GCF) works in Southern Haiti, in the district of Les Cayes. GFC operates mobile medical clinics as well as conducting annual surgical missions with teams working at Hospital Immaculee Conception, Brenda Strafford Institute or City Med Clinic.

GHESKIO

GHESKIO through its service and research activities, has emerged as leader in the fight against diarrhoeal and mycobacterial diseases as well as AIDS and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. GHESKIO has been a model of integration with and cooperation among the private, public, national, international, university, and humanitarian sectors.

Global Birthing Home Foundation

Global Birthing Home Foundation works in Haiti to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. They conduct short term missions focused on the training and mentoring of clinical and community health staff in Haiti.

GLOBAL Dirt (Direct Immediate Response Team)

GLOBAL D.I.R.T. provides communication assistance and EMS support to Port Au Prince while also collaborating in several hands-on projects. GLOBAL Dirt is currently working to connect all Haitian hospitals together through their PILS System (Patient Information and Logistics System). This system takes advantage of GLOBAL Dirts status as the only 24/7 on-call patient transport service in Haiti.

Global First Responder

Global First Responder conducts healthcare education and medical relief trips to countries worldwide, including Haiti.

Global Health Action (GHA)

GHA's mission is to provide training and education in health, community development, and leadership to benefit individuals, families, and communities worldwide. Graduates of GHA programs are active in over 80 countries around the globe. It conducts community health worker training in Haiti.

Global Surgical and Destination Healthcare

Global Surgical and Destination Healthcare works in partnership with the St. Luke Foundation, sending short term medical/surgical mission teams to Port au Prince.

Global Therapy Group

Global Therapy Group was created in response to the dire need for rehabilitation services in Haiti following the earthquake of January, 2010. We are dedicated to providing sustainable rehabilitation and training to those in need throughout the world.

Global Vision Citadelle Ministries (GVCM)

Mobile medical clinic teams travel to GVCM churches throughout Haiti and set up clinics.

Haiti Africa Relief Team (HART)

Haiti Africa Relief Team (HART) supports a medical clinic in St. Jude's Parish as well as conducting short term missions multiple times each year.

Haiti Cheri

Haiti Cheri works in the village of Dolval, in the mountains of Northeast Haiti near the Dominican Republic border. U.S. medical teams provide clinics twice a year. Future plans include a permanent clinic and use of satellite technology to link U.S. physicians to the clinic between visits.

Haiti Clinic

Founded by a group of doctors from Florida, Haiti Clinic sends medical teams to conduct weekend medical clinics in Cite Soleil. The clinic is staffed by a Haitian physician and 2 Haitian nurses Monday through Friday. Volunteers are welcome.

Haiti Endowment Fund

Haiti Endowment Fund provides education, training, sanitation and humanistic support to the Haitian people. Runs medical outreach trips to Hinche and surrounding area.

Haiti Foundation of Hope

HFH maintains a permanent medical clinic in Terre Blanche, funds primary and secondary schools, supports a women's trade school, collaborates on clean water projects and sends medical and dental teams to Northern Haiti.

Haiti Healthcare Partners (HHP)

HHP provides resources to improve the medical care of thousands who live in the mountainous Grande Colline region in southern Haiti. Operates the Jean Wilfrid Albert Medical Clinic in Cherident, Haiti.

Haiti Help Med

Haiti Help Med's mission is to improve the quality of life in Miragoane and Paillant. Work includes renovation of the health center in Paillant(hospital Notre Dame de la Victoire (Hospital Our Lady of Victory) and support of the Sainte Therese Hospital in Miragoane.

Haiti Hydrocephalus Project

Headed by Dr. John Ragheb, Director of the Neurosurgery at Miami Children's Hospital, HHP is an ongoing program intent on building a sustainable pediatric surgical specialty training program in Haiti. Project Medishare and Healing Hands of Haiti sponsor screening and annual pediatric neurosurgery trip.

Haiti Medical Mission of Wisconsin

Volunteer interdenominational medical professionals who work with the Haiti Parish Twinning Program to bring quality health care to the people of Thiotte, Haiti.

Haiti Medical Missions of Memphis

Haiti Medical Missions of Memphis provides health care to the peoples of Haiti through a comprehensive primary care health clinic in Croix des Boquets near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The facility provides day surgery, primary and preventive health care, dental and eye care, and serves up to 400 patients per day. The clinic also provides onsite educational training experiences for visiting, medical/dental and nursing faculty, residents, students, and private health care volunteer providers from abroad.

Haiti Nursing Foundation (HNF)

The HNF provides financial support to the school of nursing, Faculte des Sciences Infirmieres´Universite Episcopale (Faculty of Nursing Science of the Episcopal University of Haiti or FSIL), and to provide funding for selected projects to improve nursing in Haiti. Funds raised by HNF are primarily used for operational expenses and student support at FSIL.

Haiti Outreach Ministries (HOM)

Christian non-profit organization with the goal of introducing Christianity to the people of Cite Soleil, Haiti and neighboring communities. They do some medical work in this area. Medical teams are typically comprised of several nurses and paramedics to perform triage and screen patients for a particular doctor.

Haiti Outreach Mission

Haiti Outreach Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the people, especially the children, of Mirebalais, Haiti. They are an ecumenical lay mission group with primary support from several churches in the Detroit area. Their mission partners are two churches in Mirebalais; St. Louis Catholic and St. Pierre Episcopal. They support a clinic, staffed by a doctor, nurse, part-time dentist and support staff.

Haiti Rehab Project

Haiti Rehab Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support rehabilitation and medical clinics, orphanages, families, and outreach programs for those with special needs in Haiti. The Haiti Rehab Project conducts short term missions and operates a rehabilitation clinic in Gonaives.

Haiti180

Haiti180 runs a school, homes for children and the elderly, and the Saint Mother Teresa Medical Clinic. Their work is focused in in the villages of Duverger and Dandann, approximately 80 miles west of Port au Prince. The Medical Clinic hosts short term medical trips several times each year.

Haitian Christian Mission

Haitian Christian Mission's three medical clinics and mobile medical teams serve nearly 16,000 people every year. Their work is concentrated mainly around the capital of Port-au-Prince and the nearby town of Fond Parisien.

Haitian Health Foundation

The Haitian Health Foundation is focused on improving the health and well-being of women, children, families and communities living in the greater Jérémie region of Haiti through healthcare, education and community development.

Haitian Ministries Diocese of Norwich

Commitment to a permanent presence in Haiti to empower and support Haitians helping Haitians in their struggle for self-determination. Runs a clinic in Notre Dame de Lourdes. Sponsors medical missions.

Hand of Hope- Joyce Meyer Ministries

Hand of Hope- Joyce Meyer Ministries provides outreach worldwide including long and short term medical/dental mission trips to the Love a Child clinic in Fond Parisien, Haiti.

Hands That Heal

The purpose of this ministry is to seek medical attention for the people of Haiti. Hands that Heal coordinates host families, doctors and hospitals that donate their time and services. The treatment is free of charge for the patients and their families during the time they are in the US, with the hope that they can return to Haiti and live a full life.

Hands Up For Haiti

Hands Up for Haiti is a non-profit organization that conducts multiple short term medical missions each year to various health care facilities in Haiti. Hands Up For Haiti medical teams also collect medications, supplies and equipment for distribution to the clinics they collaborate with.

Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI)

HHI is a university-wide academic and research center with the goal of relieving suffering from war and disaster. Runs Klinik Lespwa at IDP camp in Fond Parisiens, Haiti and supports Love a Child clinic also in Fond Parisiens.

Harvest Field Ministries

Harvest Field Ministries works in the area of Les Anglais, Haiti. They offer vocational training as well as healthcare, with multiple medical and dental clinic teams visiting each year.

Harvest International

Harvest International is a non-profit, non-denominational, Christian organization ministering to the physical needs of impoverished people throughout the world to gain the right to minister to their spiritual needs.

Healing Art Missions

In cooperation with the "Adopt-a Village Missions a group of Granville and Newark, Ohio volunteers travel to Dumay, Haiti, each January to provide free medical services to the local villagers.

Healing Hands for Haiti Foundation

Healing Hands for Haiti Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing rehabilitation medicine to Haiti. The foundation operates a year-around clinic with doctors and surgeons in Haiti who volunteer a few days a week. Short term mission trips are sent to the clinic roughly once monthly with physicians, prosthetists, surgeons, etc.

Health and Education for Haiti

Health and Education for Haiti works collaboratively with the Haitian people to address their critical needs related to health and education. This organization is focused on education, infrastructure and conducting short term medical missions.

Heart to Heart International (HHI)

Heart to Heart International (HHI) is improving global health through humanitarian initiatives that connect people and resources to a world in need. Heart to Heart International currently serves in countries worldwide including Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala.

Hearts Together for Haiti

Hearts Together for Haiti is a Canadian charitable organization working in Labadie and its surrounding communities. The implementation of new schools, various medical, educational and nutritional programs are at the heart of HTFH's work. Helping Hands for Haiti

H3O Hands Helping Haiti is building a school for the local community of Savannette, and a medical center in Papaye. They built a water reservoir for Savannette and distributed pigs in rural Cyvadier. Annual medical mission in March.

Helping Hugs Inc.

Helping Hugs Inc. promotes healthcare, education and small business development in Haiti. Helping Hugs conducts an annual medical mission to the Cotes-de-Fer area.

Hope Alive! Clinic Haiti

Christian organization that supports two medical clinics, one in Tricon and one in Mariani, Haiti. The Mariani clinic, staffed by a pediatrician, nurse, and pharmacist, serves over 7,000 people annually, providing powdered milk, rice, cooking oil, and vitamins twice each month. Mothers and children also receive free medicine and free doctor examinations. The staff at Tricon includes a physician and a nurse.

Hope for Haiti

Hope for Haiti is a non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for the Haitian people, particularly children, through education, nutrition and healthcare.

Hope Force International

Hope Force International is a disaster relief organization comprised of a group of trained volunteers including doctors, nurses, firemen and paramedics. Hope Force International provides medical, economic ,and reconstruction services to areas within the United States and Haiti.

Hope Grows Haiti

Hope Grows Haiti offers, educational, housing, nutritional and medical care in Petit Paradis. Hope Grows runs a medical clinic with a full time nurse and occasionally hosts short term medical mission teams.

Hope Health Action

Hope Health Action (previously Haiti Hospital Appeal) is a Christian NGO dedicated to providing life-saving health and disability care to the world’s most vulnerable.

Hope Walks

Hope Walks builds sustainable national clubfoot programs in low and middle-income countries, including Honduras, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Formerly known as CURE Clubfoot, Hope Walks will continue to partner with CURE Hospitals and clinics where services overlap.

Hospitals of Hope

Hospitals of Hope sends short term medical and dental teams to countries worldwide, including Haiti. Hospitals of Hope have constructed four medical clinics for use in Haiti through their "Clinic in a Can" program which assembles and ships ready to use medical clinics built in a shipping container.

IAM Missions (International Accelerated Missions)

J/P Haitian Relief Organization (J/P HRO)

J/P HRO's efforts include providing emergency medical and primary care services, delivering medical equipment and medicine, distributing food and water purification systems, improving communication systems, and community redevelopment in the neighborhoods surrounding the Petionville Camp.

JoyHouse Ministries

JoyHouse has a mission center that serves as headquarters for the church started by the ministry, as well as the mission teams. JoyHouse currently serves four area churches and two orphanages while facilitating multiple ministries including a medical ministry which offers primary care services through multiple clinic sites.

Kelby's Kids

Kelby's Kids conducts primary medical care trips to various clinics in Haiti providing adult, pediatric and neonatal medical care.

Konbit Sante Cap-Haitien Health Partnership

Lavi Project conducts short term medical clinic trips to various sites in Haiti several times each year.

Lend a Hand and Foot (LAHAF)

Lend a Hand and Foot was created following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. LAHAF aims to connect organizations and volunteers to help them become more efficient and cost effective.

Live Beyond

Live Beyond provides medical and maternal health care as well as education to the people of Thomazeau, Haiti through monthly, week long mission trips.

Living Hope for Haiti Medical Clinic

Clinic run by Living Hope Haiti Christian Mission. The clinic opened in July 2003, and a physician started full time in August. They also have a head nurse and two assistant nurses on staff.

Lumiere Medical Ministries

Lumiere Medical Ministries is a non-denominational, Christian, non-profit mission organization. Make Men Smile

Medical Benevolence Foundation

The clinic also provides onsite educational training experiences for visiting, medical/dental and nursing faculty, residents, students, and private health care volunteer providers from abroad. Volunteers do not need to speak Creole/French since translators are available onsite.

Medical Relief International (MRI)

MRI provides dental, medical and humanitarian aid to people in Manila, several locations in Haiti, and numerous locations in Central America(including Honduras).

Medical Teams International

Medical Teams International has been providing disaster relief and health services in Haiti since 1994. MTI works with partner organizations in Haiti including the Haiti Foundation of Hope, supporting their medical clinic in Terre Blanche. The Advantage Program, run by MTI, provides a rehabilitation clinic and prosthesis/orthotics shop. Medical Teams International also has 4 Team Houses within Haiti available to any short term mission teams needing housing.

Meds and Food for Kids

Meds & Food for Kids (MFK) works to combat childhood malnutrition and related diseases in Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. They use an new peanut-based feeding approach called Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF).

Men For Missions International

MFMI is an evangelistic Christian organization that sponsors short-term mission trips to a number of countries. Among the trips, they sponsor some medical mission trips to Haiti.

Midwives for Haiti

MFH's goals are to reduce the high maternal and infant mortality rates by teaching midwifery skills and to enhance maternal health by providing regular prenatal care, including preventative services by trained midwives. Works in Cite Soleil and Hinche. Works with Haiti Healthcare Foundations, Saint Monica's in Haiti and Haitian Outreach Ministries.

Mission Aviation Fellowship

Mission Aviation Fellowship is a Christian missionary organization whose primary purpose is to provide air transportation in support of missionary efforts and humanitarian needs in hard-to-reach areas of the world. MAF also provides internet, I.T. and RF communications to its various projects around the globe.

Mission Haiti Medical

Mission Haiti Medical oversees the operation of an outpatient clinic in Saintard, in cooperation with L’Eglise de Dieu Reformee Church. The clinic provides health care services to Haitians through a medical clinic, dentistry clinic, eye clinic, 2 operating rooms, pharmacy, lab and a prosthetics unit. In addition, Mission Haiti Medical conducts short term medical missions each year.

Mission to Haiti

Mission to Haiti Mission Teams serve the Haitian people through building projects, medical clinics and Bible schools for children. Mobile medical clinics are held in churches, homes, or existing facilities. On average, a clinic will see 150 to 200 people a day.

Mission to Haiti Canada organizes short term missions to Cabaret, Haiti. Mission teams conduct medical/dental clinics as well as participating in construction projects.

Mission-Haiti

Mission-Haiti focuses on 5 key areas to helping the children of Haiti including, orphan ministry, school sponsorships, evangelism, medical care and short term missions. In order to overcome the high infant and mother mortality rate during pregnancy, Mission-Haiti teams teach prenatal, infant and toddler classes. Mobility Outreach International provides corrective treatment to children with clubfoot, as well as prosthetic and orthotic services, physical rehabilitation, advocacy, and orthopedic surgical outreach to adults and children. Mobility Outreach International work in several under resourced regions including Haiti.

MOST Ministries

Medical and dental teams provide temporary clinics for local churches, often using the church building to examine hundreds of patients and to dispense medicines donated by pharmaceutical companies. Simple surgeries are performed, and teaching efforts attempt to educate.

Mother Health International (MHI)

The MHI birth clinic is a 24 hour, midwifery modeled birth clinics serving birthing women and children in Jacmel.

Mountain Top Ministries (MTM)

MTM are dedicated to serving the people of Haiti through quality physical and spiritual education, and to preparing and equipping Haitian ministers and their families. Services include a small clinic that host visiting medical missions.

New Orleans Medical Mission Services Foundation, Inc.

NOMMSF donates medical services including direct medical interventions, medical equipment, supplies and instruments to qualified organizations in foreign countries including Haiti.

New Reality International (NRI)

New Reality International (NRI)works to enhance basic human services, including medical and dental care, education and shelter, to poverty stricken regions around the world.

No-Scalpel Vasectomy International (NSVI)

No-Scalpel Vasectomy International provides free No-Scalpel Vasectomy services worldwide, but especially in developing countries. Also offers training for health providers.

Northeast Hope for Haiti

Northeast Hope for Haiti conducts both surgical and mobile medical mission trips to the village of L’Artibonite. In addition, they are currently building a clinic and a school in the village of Palmise.

Northwest Haiti Christian Mission

Northwest Haiti Chistian Mission is located in the city of St. Louis du Nord. On the mission property there is a church building, the Tender Lambs Birthing Center, a surgical unit, a burn unit, a Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy (PT/OT) center, a center for premature babies, a school, an elderly feeding program, and a nutritional program that provides food for malnourished children and nutritional training for their mothers.

NOVA Hope for Haiti

Medical mission group stages annual trip to Cavaillon, in the South. Goal is to build a permanently staffed eight-room central clinic.

NYAGI

NYAGI is an organization focused upon improving global healthcare by training and educating medical professionals in the use of ultrasound. NYAGI has conducted short term missions to both Haiti and Nepal with the hopes of eventually expanding to other underserved countries.

One More Child

One More Child is focused on providing the basic needs of children in developing countries. They offer educational, nutritional, housing and medical care. In addition, One More Child organizes short term medical mission trips to Haiti, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.

Paul Chester Children's Hope Foundation

The Paul Chester Children's Hope Foundation (PCCHF) provides medical assistance to children and families in developing countries. The organization conducts short term missions, performing reconstructive surgery such as club foot and cleft palate repair, burn scar revision, ear tubes and eye surgery.

Phoenix Rising for Haiti

Phoenix Rising for Haiti (PRH) is a non-profit organization providing orthopedic care and rehabilitative services to the people of Northwest Haiti. PRH mission teams are capable of delivering surgical, orthopedic, orthotic, prosthetic, wound care and physical therapy evaluations and treatment.

Project Concern International (PCI)

Project Concern Int'l offers a broad range of services including, family health, disaster relief and disease prevention programs within Haiti and Guatemala, as well as numerous other countries worldwide.

Project Haiti Heart

Atlanta based non-profit organization whose mission is to provide medical and humanitarian aid to the people of Haiti, especially those who are affected by heart diseases. PHH is building a medical center in Fonds Parisiens and creating a cardiovascular center in Fonds Parisiens for referrals to new heart center across the border in Jimani, DR. PHH brings patients to US for surgery as needed. They have implemented a Rheumatic heart disease prevention program as well. Just opened Formosa OB/Gyn Center in Fonds Parisiens.

Project Medishare for Haiti, Inc.

Medishare coordinates and manages groups of medical students, doctors, nurses, and other health care professionsals for health fairs in Thomonde and several other communitities as well as orphanages and schools in Haiti. Begun by students and faculty from the University of Miami School of Medicine, this program has recently expanded to include other leading universities around the country. Project Medishare has reopened a long-shut government clinic in Thomonde, begun a program to bring surgical specialties to Canje in central Haiti, and has shipped donated medical supplies, equipment, and non-expired medicines to Haiti.

Promise for Haiti

Promise for Haiti was founded in 1981 as the stateside support agency for Comite de Bienfaisance de Pignon in Pignon, Haiti. An outpatient clinic and small hospital provide major and minor surgery, radiology, pharmacy, lab, eye and dental clinics, as well as a nutrition training center.

Prosthetika

Prosthetika's mission is to provide appropriate and sustainable assistance to disabled people in developing countries. In Haiti, Prosthetika built a self-contained prosthetic workshop into two 20 foot steel shipping containers. The workshop facilitates fabrication of artificial limbs and orthopedic braces, and serves as a training facility for training local Haitian technicians.

Randolph World Ministries

Randolph World Ministries, Inc. provides a full range of medical services to over 20 Haitian clinics through training, materials, consultation, and personal visits to each facility. Randolph World Ministries also conducts mobile clinics and eye clinics during biannual short term missions.

Respire Haiti

Respire Haiti is based in Gressier, Haiti and operates a medical clinic, a small school and numerous community outreach programs.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Atlanta Haiti Mission and Sister Parish

Sacred Heart partners with the parish of St. Pierre in the Gran Bois region of Haiti. Volunteers operate week-long medical clinics and deliver medical supplies. Sacred Heart also funds a year-round physician from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, who provides ongoing medical care between mission trips.

Samaritan's Purse--World Medical Mission

Under the auspices of Samaritan's Purse, World Medical Mission has sent volunteer physicians to Hopital De Fermathe and Hopital Lumiere in Haiti. In addition, it has shipped medical supplies to Harvest International, a fetal monitor to Wesleyan Hospital, medical suplies to Haiti Project, electrical supplies to Hospital Pignon, and medical equipment to Harvest International. Under the auspices of Samaritan's Purse, World Medical Mission sends volunteer physicians to Hospital Evangelico, Hospital Bautista, and Hospital Loma de La Luz in Honduras. Specialists include orthopedics, urology, general surgery, and plastic surgery.

Save a Child's Heart

Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) is an Israeli-based international humanitarian project that sends surgical and medical teams to developing countries to train and perform pediatric cardiac surgeries on-site and screen children that will go to Israel to receive treatment.

Save the Children

Save the Children first began working in the Central Plateau region of Maïssade, Haiti in 1983. In 1999, Save the Children touched the lives of 45,401 people in rural areas of Haiti, including 5,298 sponsored children, through programs that promote health, education, and economic opportunities.

ServeHAITI

ServeHAITI has constructed, staffed and financed the operation of a full-time multi-service Health Center in Grand-Bois. ServeHAITI is a volunteer organization with its roots in the Social Outreach Ministry of Atlanta’s Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Seva

Seva works in underserved communities in Haiti, Honduras and Guatemala to restore vision and prevent blindness. Sight Program volunteers help build capacity for improved eye care services, perform cataract surgeries, and provide basic eye care.

Siloe Project (Centre Pazapa)

Mission is to support the treatment, education and development of children with disabilities towards a fuller integration into the community at large. Support orthopedic services, special education and adjunct programs that support the families of these children at Pazapa Center in Jacmel, and in four outreach zones of LaFond, Bellevue, LaCroix and LaVoute.

Sonje Ayiti

Sonje Ayiti is a group of Haitian and international humanitarians who collaborate to provide education, economic development, and health promotion. Works in Limonade in the North side.

Sove Lavi

Sove Lavi operates a primary care clinic in Port Sonde in Artibonite Valley. Hosts medical missions. Other work includes clean water projects, education and clothing and nutrition.

St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church Haiti Council

This church founded and sponsors the St. Genevieve Health Clinic in in Duval, Haiti. A nurse is at the clinic 6 days a week. The group sends short term medical and dental trips to the clinic as well.

Surgeon Volunteers

Surgeon Volunteers conducts short term surgical missions in Haiti and Cambodia. They have focused on providing urology and breast surgeries to these medically underserved countries.

Surgeons of Hope Foundation

Surgeons of Hope brings surgery and medical care to indigent children. They have established programs in countries throughout the world including a pediatric cardiac unit within the Lambert Clinic in Petionville, Haiti.

Sustainable Organic Integrated Livelihoods (SOIL)

SOIL is a non-profit organization focused on ecological sanitation and composting as a means of enhancing public health and agricultural productivity in Haiti. SOIL also sponsors a weekly health clinic at the Technology Center in Shada, Department du Nord.

The Diocese of Milwaukee Haiti Project

The Diocese of Milwaukee Haiti Project is a partnership between the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee and the people of St. Marc’s Episcopal Church of Jeannette, located in the southern peninsula of Haiti. The project has built two schools for 600 students in preschool through eighth grade, a health clinic, water cisterns, latrines, staff housing, and a rectory/community center. Each year the project raises about $70,000 to cover the salaries for 40 employees including teachers, nurses, health care providers, and agricultural workers. It also funds operating and expansion costs for the school, clinic, and agricultural programs.

The Dorsainvil Foundation

The Dorsainvil Foundation is a non-profit organization, dedicated to providing adequate healthcare to all individuals. The foundation's efforts are mostly focused in Arcahaie, Haiti, where they support a free medical clinic that is open six days a week. The Dorsainvil Foundation conducts medical missions on a quarterly basis.

The Foundation For Mercy and Sharing

Mercy and Sharing has ten active projects throughout Haiti including two orphanages (one of which is for terminally ill and handicapped children), six primary schools, the Mercy Health Center in Delmas and the Abandoned Infant Unit in Hospital General H.U.E.H. Port-au-Prince.

The Haiti Mission

Founded at Providence United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC. Medical and surgical teams go in groups of about twelve to work at two clinics near Cap Haitien, Haiti. The missions are about eight or nine days. Missions go to the same clinics in January, May and September every year.

The Haiti Project (Hearts For Haiti)

The Haiti Project was begun in 1991 in Mahotte as a Christian mission providing nutrition, education, public health, and medical care using volunteers who come from the U.S. four times a year to three different clinics. The teams are usually short-term (about a week) and provide life-saving care in a very challenging setting without bnenefit of a laboratory,x-ray equipment, etc.

The Rasin Foundation

The Rasin Foundation works with the people of Leogane, Haiti to improve the physical and mental health of the community. They operate a medical clinic, Le Petite-Riviere Health Center and a children wellness program, Sante Timoun, that provides nutritional, medical and psychological support to malnourished children who have lost parents during the earthquake.

Tulane Haiti Medical Relief - Sante Total

Sante Total conducts 4 medical missions each year to the village of Jacsonville, Haiti. Sante Total aims to empower local people to become actively engaged in the establishment of a healthcare system and is involved in the construction of a school, medical clinic and mission house.

Vassar Haiti Project

The Vassar Haiti Project provides support for the village of Chermaitre through four initiatives: education, medical access, reforestation, and water purification. The L'Acul medical clinic was built in 2009 and continues to be funded via the Vassar Haiti Project.

Village Partners International

VPI operates the Mombin Crochu hospital. This facility is a small clinic with an OR and maternity/delivery room that is functional when teams come in. The facility has clinics, dental services, and some public health/outreach programs. The hospital holds around 20 people, but can be expanded when needed.

Visitation Hospital Foundation Parish Twinning Program

The program today includes over 340 twinnings, making it the largest citizen-to-citizen network linking Haiti and the United States. Parish aid has built dispensaries, provided medicines and medical supplies, trained and paid the salaries of nurses, established preventive health programs, and sent medical teams to work in clinics and dispensaries. The program also brings patients from Haiti to the U.S. if they need surgery which is difficult or impossible to get inside Haiti.

World Hope International

World Hope International conducts short term missions to several countries, including Haiti. Mission teams focus on providing medical/dental clinics, education and clean water and sanitation.
