International Medical Alliance of Tennessee (IMA)

IMA provides access to medical care in underserved and vulnerable communities around the world through short term medical mission trips. Supports the Good Samaritan Hospital in Jimani. Since the earthquake in Haiti, it has become a gateway for relief efforts and a safe haven for Haitians who cross the border.

International Medical Assistance Foundation

The International Medical Assistance Foundation (IMAF) conducts several medical and surgical missions annually to Central and South America, including Juticalpa, Honduras.

International Medical Corps (IMC)

International Medical Corps has been operating 15 mobile medical units throughout Port-au-Prince and the surrounding regions. Providing services, including, emergency, primary and mental health care, maternal and child health, immunization and communicable disease surveillance, and health education. These services are provided through a combination of both static and mobile medical clinics.

International Surgical Foundation

International Surgical Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on providing spine and scoliosis surgery to individuals with spine related problems in the Caribbean and South America, including the Dominican Republic.

International Surgical Health Initiative (ISHI)

The International Surgical Health Initiative (ISHI) is a non-profit organization that provides free surgical care to underserved communities worldwide, including Haiti and Guatemala.

J/P Haitian Relief Organization (J/P HRO)

J/P HRO's efforts include providing emergency medical and primary care services, delivering medical equipment and medicine, distributing food and water purification systems, improving communication systems, and community redevelopment in the neighborhoods surrounding the Petionville Camp.

Joint Task Force (JTF) -Bravo Medical Element (MEDEL)

JoyHouse Ministries

JoyHouse has a mission center that serves as headquarters for the church started by the ministry, as well as the mission teams. JoyHouse currently serves four area churches and two orphanages while facilitating multiple ministries including a medical ministry which offers primary care services through multiple clinic sites.

Jungle Medic Missions

Jungle Medic Missions provides medical and dental care for Mayan Indians living in remote villages in the jungles, mountains and along the Rio Dulce River in Guatemala. They host teams of doctors, dentists, and other medical personnel.

Kelby's Kids

Kelby's Kids conducts primary medical care trips to various clinics in Haiti providing adult, pediatric and neonatal medical care.

Key Humanitarian Initiative for Southern Honduras (KHISH)

Key Humanitarian Initiative for Southern Honduras (KHISH) conducts medical, dental and vision mission trips to San Lorenzo, Honduras. KHISH teams provide surgical services at the San Lorenzo Hospital while also offering medical and dental clinics in the surrounding areas.

Konbit Sante Cap-Haitien Health Partnership

Founded in 2000, Konbit Sante is committed to helping Haitians in North Haiti care for Haitians with targeted health programs, supplemental Haitian medical staff, teaching, equipment, supplies, and infrastructure improvements.

La Gon√¢ve Haiti Partnership and Clinic

Partnership between Episcopal Diocese of Haiti and Episcopal and Presbyterian churches in the US focusing on education,healthcare,nutrition,agriculture,water, and economic opportunity. Runs clinic with doctor in Gonave and Community Health Workers Program.

La Romana Dreamin'

Information on the mission work with the Good Samaritan Hospital and the Maranatha Baptist Church. This webpage was designed to help new and returning work teams as well as provide information for others seeking to begin a mission work overseas.

Lavi Project

Lavi Project conducts short term medical clinic trips to various sites in Haiti several times each year.

LEAP Foundation

The LEAP Foundation provides reconstructive surgery to correct cleft lips, cleft palates, congenitally absent ears, and other facial deformities and disfiguring injuries. In addition, volunteer mission teams have included general surgeons, eye surgeons, ocular prosthetics and prosthetic specialists. Sends teams to Dominican Republic, Haiti and Belize.

Lend a Hand and Foot (LAHAF)

Lend a Hand and Foot was created following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. LAHAF aims to connect organizations and volunteers to help them become more efficient and cost effective.

Life is Great Global Foundation, Inc.

LIG Global Foundation sponsors and organizes medical missions to under-served areas around the world, including the Dominican Republic.

Lifecorps International

Partnered with New Covenant World Missions in Fl. to build Hospital Shalom-Peten in San Benito, Peten, Guatemala. Hospital is open and looking to host surgical teams.

LIMBS International

LIMBS International sends short-term mission teams of physical therapists and prosthetists to underserved countries, including Guatemala.

Live Beyond

Live Beyond provides medical and maternal health care as well as education to the people of Thomazeau, Haiti through monthly, week long mission trips.

Living Hope for Haiti Medical Clinic

Clinic run by Living Hope Haiti Christian Mission. The clinic opened in July 2003, and a physician started full time in August. They also have a head nurse and two assistant nurses on staff.

Los Medicos Voladores (The Flying Doctors)

Los Medicos Voladores (LMV) -- in Spanish, the flying doctors -- is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization that aims to improve the health and well-being of geographically diverse peoples through education and the provision of no-cost, high-quality medical, dental, and optometric clinics. LMV serves Mexico, Central and South America, and migrant labor populations of the southeast California.

Love Truth Care Ministries

Christian interfaith group is intent on elevating healthcare in Honduras through teaching, lecturing and performing surgeries at no cost and in partnership with local physicians.

Luke Society

The Luke Society is an interdenominational organization of Christian health and business professionals dedicated to medical missions. They support indigenous Christian health professionals who have a vision to reach their own people. The focus is on community health--teaching people how to prevent disease and equipping people to care for themselves, their families and their communities.
