The L'Acul Clinic, established and supported by the Vassar Haiti Project, is a small medical clinic providing basic health care services. A physician is present 2 days each month. The clinic is located in the village of L'Acul, approximately an hours walk from the town of Chermaitre.
Supported by The Rasin Foundation, the center provides medical care and dispenses medications free of charge to rural villagers who lack access to basic health care services. Staffed by a nurse, nursing assistant and a community health worker, the health center also welcomes short term medical volunteers. The Noel Dusan Eye Clinic is located within the Centre de Santé Communautaire de Dumay. The clinic operates one week per month and offers complete eye exams, glaucoma and cataract treatment, eye infection treatment, and eyeglasses.
The Norma I. Love Foundation operates from the village of Mocoron, in Mosquitia, Honduras. Saint Monica's provides medical and financial assistance to the poor and underserved of Sacre coeur parish of Hinche. St. Monica annually send a team of physicians, nurses and other staff to attend to the healthcare needs of this community. Operates the full-time Whitney Clinic staffed by Haitian doc, Dr. Dagerus, a nurse, a clinic manager and a pharmacy tech.
