PTPA is a Catholic-affiliated non-profit organization focused on creating lasting sister parish relationships between parishes in the U.S. or Canada and parishes in the country of Haiti and elsewhere.

Partner for Surgery

Partner For Surgery works in rural areas of Guatemala where few people have had access to surgical care. They help these rural people help themselves by providing an opportunity for access to the international surgical teams who come to Guatemala. They are actively soliciting physicians and others for medical missions to Guatemala. Has 2 fully-equipped ORs at the Centro de Salud Barbara one hour outside of Guatemala City. Surgical teams welcome.

Partners in Development (PID) Haiti

PID offers child sponsorship, microcredit, housing and medical help in P-au-P, Haiti and in San Bernardino, Guatemala. Provides primary care and ER transport from clinic in Sarthe. Staffed with full-time Haitian doctor, nurse, and program coordinator. PID sends medical professionals from the United States each month.

Partners in Health

Founded with the primary goal of supporting ongoing activities in Central Haiti, including a clinic and a training program for community-health workers. Now works in Latin America, Caribbean, Eastern Europe, and U.S. They operate Clinique Bon Sauveur (Cange Hospital and Medical Clinic).

Partnership for Quality Medical Donations (PQMD)

Bristol-Myers Squibb and Direct Relief International partner to equip physicians on short-term medical trips to overseas health facilities. Serves Latin America and the Caribbean as well as other areas.

Paul Chester Children's Hope Foundation

The Paul Chester Children's Hope Foundation (PCCHF) provides medical assistance to children and families in developing countries. The organization conducts short term missions, performing reconstructive surgery such as club foot and cleft palate repair, burn scar revision, ear tubes and eye surgery.

Peace Lutheran Church

Peace Church missions have been working in Honduras for over 20 years. Optical and dental treams travel most often.

Peacework

Peacework Medical Projects has established annual primary care clinics in Honduras, Belize, and Guyana, offering health care to those who would likely otherwise go without. The clinics are two weeks in length and approximately 1500 patients are seen during that period.

People for Haiti

People For Haiti is a not-for-profit organization formed following the earthquake in 2010. People for Haiti has focused primarily on providing medical care to the people of Cabaret, conducting numerous medical and surgical missions.

Phoenix Rising for Haiti

Phoenix Rising for Haiti (PRH) is a non-profit organization providing orthopedic care and rehabilitative services to the people of Northwest Haiti. PRH mission teams are capable of delivering surgical, orthopedic, orthotic, prosthetic, wound care and physical therapy evaluations and treatment.

Physicians Aiding Physicians Abroad (PAPA)

PAPA enables health care providers to become actively involved in short-term medical missions. Recent missions have been to Honduras and Zimbabwe.

Physicians for Peace

Physicians For Peace sends teams of medical volunteers, including physicians, dentists, nurses and other health professionals, on medical missions to places where their healing skills are needed. Dominican Republic programs include dental clinics, burn compression units, and women's health programs.

Pillatre Christian Medical Center

On the campus of the Pillatre Christian Schools, a medical center with a fulltime Haitian Medical Doctor and nursing staff. Dr. Desir and his staff provide much needed services for the entire community.

Planned Parenthood Global

PPI works with partner organizations to prevent maternal death and disability by increasing access to contraceptives and reducing unsafe abortions. Partner organizations provide clinic- and community-based outreach activities designed to increase the use of contraceptives and other services by adolescents; decrease unsafe abortion practices; and improve the social, legal, and political climate regarding sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Plasticos Foundation

Plasticos Foundation is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing life changing plastic surgery for children correcting birth defects, congenital malformations and traumatic disfigurements of those at home and around the world unable to afford these services.

PQMD (Partnership for Quality Medical Donations)

PQMD is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to raising the standards for medical product donations globally. As one of the leading authorities on medical donations recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and others, PQMD aims to encourage the donation and delivery of appropriate medicines to people in need in a timely and effective manner.

Predisan

Predisan is a medical mission to the people of Honduras. Since 1986, Predisan has been providing health care services and education in and around Catacamas. Predisan's work spans nine locations — the Predisan Family Health Center and Good Samaritan Clinic in central Catacamas, two clinics in rural suburbs of Catacamas, five clinics in remote mountain villages, and the CEREPA addiction treatment center in Catacamas.

Presbyterian Church(USA)

The International Health Ministries Office(IHMO) coordinates the ministries of the PC(USA)in international health and development. The IHMO works in partnership with overseas churches and institutions to facilitate health programs that place priority on the most vulnerable and poorest segments of the population.

Prevention of Postpartum Hemorrhage Initiative (POPPHI)

The Postpartum Hemorrhage Prevention and Treatment website provides a forum for joint information sharing and learning between organizations and individuals working on the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) in developing countries. Includes learning materials and Postpartum Hemorrhage toolkit.

Primeros Pasos

Primeros Pasos works to offer quality and affordable healthcare and health education to the underserved communities of the Palajunoj valley just outside of Quetzaltenango, a small city in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. Combines clinical care, basic laboratory analysis, in-clinic education and school-based outreach programs.

Project Belize, Inc.

Project Belize is a non-proft corporation located in Nacogdoches, Texas, that annually sends a group of doctors, nurses, and other members travel to the Central American country of Belize. The group provides medical treatment to approximately 1000 people living in the remote villages of southern Belize.

Project C.U.R.E.

Project C.U.R.E. is non-profit, humanitarian relief organization that collects medical surplus and donates it to developing countries.
