The HNF provides financial support to the school of nursing, Faculte des Sciences Infirmieres´Universite Episcopale (Faculty of Nursing Science of the Episcopal University of Haiti or FSIL), and to provide funding for selected projects to improve nursing in Haiti. Funds raised by HNF are primarily used for operational expenses and student support at FSIL.
Christian non-profit organization with the goal of introducing Christianity to the people of Cite Soleil, Haiti and neighboring communities. They do some medical work in this area. Medical teams are typically comprised of several nurses and paramedics to perform triage and screen patients for a particular doctor.
Haiti Outreach Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the people, especially the children, of Mirebalais, Haiti. They are an ecumenical lay mission group with primary support from several churches in the Detroit area. Their mission partners are two churches in Mirebalais; St. Louis Catholic and St. Pierre Episcopal. They support a clinic, staffed by a doctor, nurse, part-time dentist and support staff.
Haiti Rehab Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support rehabilitation and medical clinics, orphanages, families, and outreach programs for those with special needs in Haiti. The Haiti Rehab Project conducts short term missions and operates a rehabilitation clinic in Gonaives.
Haiti180 runs a school, homes for children and the elderly, and the Saint Mother Teresa Medical Clinic. Their work is focused in in the villages of Duverger and Dandann, approximately 80 miles west of Port au Prince. The Medical Clinic hosts short term medical trips several times each year.
